Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of the world-famous Rev. Billy Graham, delivered an impassioned address at the Charleston Community Prayer Breakfast last week. Her message: The end times are coming.
“There are certain signs where you can discern when the end is near,” she said to a packed Charleston Area Convention Center. “The Gospel would be preached to the whole world, and then the end would come. … Basically, the entire world now has access to the Gospel.”
This year’s was the fifth annual prayer breakfast, sponsored by the Charleston Leadership Foundation, and more than 1,200 people attended. Speakers included Charleston Mayor Joe Riley, North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey and Charleston City Councilman Jimmy Gallant. But the main attraction was Lotz, who aside from being the daughter of one of the most accomplished Christian evangelists in modern history, is a popular public speaker and author in her own right.
